Hi all...
I noticed that "contour shuttle devices" does show up in the list of available control surfaces in the "add control surface" box in CbB.

question: I haven't used my V2 in a few years....   should I install the lastest (last) Shuttlepro driver (Windows 7 Pro 64bit here) or just do a plug n play install?

Why don't you test it? Plug and play... see how it goes, then install the latest driver, then compare them which one works best on you...

I just got a Shuttle Pro V2 for the first time a few months ago.  It find it to be a tremendously helpful product.  There is no need to do anything other than install the helper app/driver and then configure it to your wishes.  There is no need for CbB to even know it's there.

Since the Shuttle Pro creates keystrokes, CbB simply follows directions.  When I customized my usage of the buttons and knobs, I found that only one (the ring) had any correlation/match to the default function choices that are native to the profile they provide.  Just jump in.

Gary, a question or two....
I assume that the helper app installs with the latest shuttle driver from Contour  ( 2.13.3 ) ... yes?

I'm familiar with configuring with the Shuttle app....

and I assume that I should set CbB to show the shuttle as a control surface?   or no?
btw, fwiw, this has been my unit in the last couple of years when, for some reason, it looked like the shuttle was a no-go...    :  http://xkeys.com/xkeys/xk12JSH.php

Yes, the helper app has an 'About' tab that shows it's 2.13.3.  As for it being an actual driver, things get a little murky:  I can't find the Contour Shuttle listed anywhere in the Device Manager.  To extend the mystery, in CbB, although the Contour Shuttle is among the devices offered in the short list of 'Preferences>>Control Surfaces>>Controller/Surfaces', I certainly do not have it enabled as an active control surface.  I guess that makes sense because the Contour doesn't need/use a MIDI port.

The only control surface I have overtly active in CbB is the 'Mackie Control' that talks via my UM-3G MIDI interface to the Mackie Control faders enabled in my Midas M32.  (I don't use the native USB MIDI of the M32 because I sometimes use Dante Virtual Soundcard instead of the DN32-USB interface.)  Both the Contour and the Mackie emulation work just fine concurrently.
