I've been following your plight, and wanted to offer a suggestion when I had the chance.  I don't have Rapture Pro, but your issue has the classic symptoms of an accidental MIDI Learn binding in Cakewalk synths.
 
Try right-clicking on the Pitch Tracking widget (I guess it's a knob now).  See if Pitch Bend is 'bound' to that control. There are several ways to remove it; the easiest being a Reset. At least that's the way it works in Rapture / Dimension Pro.

Thanks B Rock, you got it. It's been driving me nuts being that my pitch bend wheel is between my lips has made Element one dead along with all provided programs that use it.
 
Really didn't expect it to remember midi learn, even in a brand new blank project.
