Hello, all...I was wondering if anyone could help me out....just bought a Scarlett Solo (don't know why I didn't upgrade from the ProSonus earlier!!!), and I'm not sure whether I should have the switch on line or instrument when using a Rode NT1 condenser microphone, with the phantom power button on. The manual isn't clear, and a google search didn't help much either. I would appreciate any help anyone could give...thanks!

Input #2 appears to be TRS, so it's allowing you to specify whether the #2 input is is an instrument, like a guitar, or a line-level source.
 
The NT1 goes to the #1 input which is an XLR connector. It is completely independent from input #2.

Mics and guitars should be set to instrument.
