So I tried rolling back last night to no avail. I suppose I will try tonight to redo it in a new project but I doubt that will make a difference, it will also suck to do because I did my drums via step sequencer. This is getting a little frustrating as I'm trying to demo stuff with people who can't just pop in and have a listen.

this sounds similar to a sample mis match.
you don't need to redo step sequencer tracks. Simply export the track and save it as a midi file.
for what its worth..This is not normal though. my projects are exporting perfectly here so something is going on there with this one project in specific (since your others are fine).

Could be a corrupt project, though I don't see that often. PWAL has some good ideas.
You could also try dragging the audio and midi (step sequencer) tracks in to a new project, see if it exports properly.
if it does not, remove the audio tracks you recorded at 48 and try another export. this will at least eliminate, help you single out the problem files.

What are you using for a soundcard ?

I just exported a known-good project that I'd previously exported before the last update.  I went to wave, though, not MP3 (I do my MP3 conversions post-export). The two files matched byte-for-byte. So whatever the problem is, it does not appear to be related to the SONAR update.

A semitone up in pitch does sound like a 44.1 KHz file being played back at 48 KHz.

Indeed it does sound like a 44.1K wave played back at 48K. It would be helpful to find out why your wave file is being written with the wrong sample rate to avoid the problem in the future. But as a test and a fix, you can correct the sample rate in the erroneous file using a hex editor or this utility.

For what it is worth, I did not do the update since the last one was a mess. My system will not export 44.1 at all. It randomely picks something like 1411 of 709, I dont know what is up with all this but it was interesting to read your isue. I am using an MOTU 828x. What are you using for a converter?
