So - I just finished a mix with and have decided that I want to save the session as a template as a starting point for another similar sounding piece.  I select all, choose save as template, choose template folder.  However, Sonar saves all the audio with it even tho it appears I have not selected "copy all audio"? 

Before saving, select all tracks and from the Tracks Menu, select Wipe Tracks
 
This will get rid of Midi & Audio data but will leave Markers, Tempo changes and Meter/Key changes intact
