OK The Inteliscore software seems like it's got a lot going on and gives you plenty of options. I don't have any more time to play with it today, but without reading the manual I just hacked my way through a convertion and it was real straight forward, software is super user friendly.. but. I exported a Kick Snare from a Sonar projects. I had to cut it to 30 seconds as this is the demo limitation.
The resulting midi drum track was a bit weird but it did come close.
First the song is 168 BPM and the conversion shows as 64 BPM,, so it played 2x fast. It also added Hi Hats??
Anyhow, it does work but I can see you probably have to fine tune things.
I can only imagine the crazy sounds you'd get if trying a would song like it claims it can do.. that I find hard to swallow. But, my song was a set tempo, I think if it creates a tempo map,, it might be worth the coin. I'll leave it to you to read the manual :)

Not having the resources or really the time to sort it out this time, telecharge was kind enough to produce the conversion for me. I uploaded the audio track and he did the rest. You'd have to ask him for the details, but the result was a MIDI click track with the correct note numbers and perfect tempo tracking.

So cheers, "tele". Do you live near L.A.? I owe you a beer.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I learned a lot.
