I have Cakewalk X3 (x64) and I'm thinking about upgrade, so I downloaded Platinum Demo to make sure it's a right version for me. Platinum was installed via Command Center next to my X3. To my surprise, none of the versions has Channel Tools pluging. I double checked  C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins folder before and after reboot - no Channel Tools folder as such! Now I even not 100% sure if I had that pluging in my previous installation (x32)... Is it possible to download Channel Tools separately or via any patch?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know if where you install your plug-ins, but Channel Tools is installed on my system with the rest of my 3rd party plug-ins. You might want to search your system for Channel Tools.dll.

Anyway, Channel Tools is part of the Engineering FX Suite which you can install from Command Center (Platinum) or download from your account (X3) -- https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products

telecharge,
many thanks for your valuable hints. Bad part of the story: Command Center only 'sees' my CA-2A Leveling Amp, nothing more. X3 is NOT supported by new Command Center (I was told), even Platinum Demo is not listed in the Command Center. As for Channel Tools.dll - it's missing on my (new) HDD and (alas!) I unistalled my X3 previous version from another HDD (still in my PC), so I cannot borrow *.dll from there.
My googling and Cakewalk site search shows no possible way of downloading either Channel Tools separately or Engineering FX Suite but Command Center.

You should be able to download it from your account. Click the link I posted above, then click on Sonar X3. The Engineering FX Suite should be listed beneath Sonar X3. Click on Engineering FX Suite, and you should see download links on the right under Available Downloads.

i maybe wrong, but i don't think there was/is an 'engineering fx suite' back in the x3 days. i just had a look in my x3 producer install folder and i have stuff like sonar producer part1.exe - part 4.exe, 3 loops and one shots .exe's and some other stuff. it just sounded strange when you mentioned the engineering fx suite in conjunction with x3, i thought that's not right and had a look.

You're probably right, Mr. Grim. I figured since that's how it's organized on the versions page, and that's the way it looks in my account, it was the new standard for user's accounts.

Sorry to mislead you, NeCaster.

Guys, thanks again. Double checked the documentation for X3 - it never says that Channel Tools only goes with, say, Pro or Platinum, so I presume it MUST be somewhere. The strangest thing is that the Platinum Demo comes without Channel Tools, too, though the Sonar versions comparison table says even Artist has Channel Tools.
My initial installation pack for X3 included 01_(02,03)Sonar_X3_Part1(2,3).exe. Then came Sonar patch (3b, 3c, 3d,3e, no 3a). Platinum Demo was installed with Command Centre, no installation files downloaded Engineering Suite.
Sorry for those maybe unneccessary details, but hopefuly it helps.

Since you can't find the DLL file, the only other thing I can think of (short of reinstalling) is restoring the file or Channel Tools folder from a backup, if you have one.

There are also free stereo utilities that might meet your needs, like this one.

you say you had  part 1,2 and 3 .exe files, in my x3 producer install folder i have also a part4.exe, perhaps that's where it comes from and is only included with producer ? idk, just guessing

Maybe the folder where it was installed isn't in your VST scan path?
