Hello,
i have a lot of Plugin Alliance plugins, some days ago i tested HG-2 and bx_bassdude in the demo version.
After that i bought the licenses of both plugins.
But if i insert the two plugins, plugins show me to activate the plugins, but there are still activated.
In other DAWs, there is no problem.
Only in CBB, i have still the demo version.

I think, CBB "thinks" the plugs are still the demo versions?!
If so, any chance to change that?

Any thoughts/ideas?

Cakewalk doesn't know about nor care whether a plugin has been authorized. This happens when you have two versions of a plugin installed, either because they're in two different places or because one is VST2 and the other is VST3. Do a search on your entire C: drive looking for those two DLLs, and you'll probably find there's more than one. That another DAW might not see two of them likely comes down to the search paths used when inventorying plugins.

First, thanks for your help !

Re-install did not change anything, same problem...
All DAWs looking in the same place, with one exception, Steinberg Cubase looks in Steinberg path and Cakewalk in Cakewalk path. All other paths are the same...

I only installed 64 Bit versions of the PA plugins

So bx_bassdude VST3 is in
 C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

bx_bassdude VST2 is in:
C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns 64 Bit\Plugin Alliance

These two paths are in Cubase and in CBB.

I take a scan there is no other dll in any other paths.

I've had a case or two where a couple of my PA plugins have asked to be reregistered the first time I've scanned them in another DAW.

I am assuming that you tried, within Cakewalk, to activate these plugins (even though you already have) and it keeps asking?

Try starting CbB with "Run as Administrator".  You may need to reset and rescan VSTs.

If that doesn't work, reinstall the new plugins using Run as Administrator.

Thanks for your help.
Sadly nothing helped for, i found out, newer brainworx or Black Box plugins by Plugin Alliance.
Neither bx_bassdude nor Black Box HG-2 installed correctly, still demo versions.

Is there a file which contains all the plugins which are loaded by cakewalk?
If so, i want to delete this file, and want to scan from scratch

The VST inventory is stored in the registry. A VST reset clears the VST Inventory in the registry and rescans plug-ins. There is an option in Preferences to create a scan log when running a scan or reset.
