I've just re installed dimension pro after some computer issues. The standalone works fine but inside Sonar X3 its keeps asking for the registration code which it then doesn't accept.I know that sometimes you need to run the program as an administrator to work around this but i cant do that inside sonar. How do i fix this?

Thanks
Justin

The plugin runs within the user context of the host(Sonar).  Can you not launch Sonar itself as administrator then open the plug or [re]scan it?  I believe I had to do something like that on Windows 10 but it has been a while...

Yes you have to run Sonar as administrator,, It's been a while but I'm purdy sure this works.

open D Pro in stand alone mode (from your desktop) without opening Sonar.
make sure to open D pro as administrator as described above (right click / run as admin)
then it will accept reg and will no longer ask for serial on start up.

Which didn't work?  Stand alone or opening inside Sonar?
Chucks method seems best, not that I've ever done it that way myself. So you could try opening it inside Sonar too.
Run Sonar as Admin and then insert what ever VST needs registering and it will pop up a dialog to enter the number in. I think you have to be on line for some VST's.

Neither worked Johnny.

I have 3 listings of DimPro in my account.
2 of 1.5, 1 of 1.2

One of the 1.5 versions is listed in CCC So,
I downloaded installed using CCC.

The serial and reg numbers that come up after install on the installed product do not reflect what the ccc says they should be. They belong to another DP listing in my account.

I've been trying to use this synth for 5 years now. sure would be nice if I could install it.

I'd contact Cake. It's never been a problem for me and I have done at least 6 computers over the last couple years since CCC came out.
Last Computer I set up never asked for the numbers at all. Seems CCC looks after this. It was 100% a fresh install of W10 and then Sonar.
Possibly this is conflicting stuff in the registry from past installs?
