OK so the .35 update seems to be good so far.  I have not used it extensively yet, but it at least it is opening OK.
 
Anyone else?  Anyone noticing issues?  Is it safe?

 
Ive been running 2017.2 the day it came out and have been very pleased.
Cant say I've had/seen anything out of the normal.

With the ER 2017.2 (UD1 and UD2) there is an issue with the loading of some previous track templates of simple instruments not honouring the original MIDI port assignments of that track template. 

When this particular issue manifests, the simple instrument track will be silent because the MIDI component of the simple instrument is remapped to the first available Hardware MIDI port rather than the VSTi, silencing that track.

The bakers are looking into this as we speak.

I have similar issues with creating new templates as well (in 2017-01) - not just simple instrument tracks.

The midi assignments on templates have been flakey for a very long time in my experience. It just doesn't seem to be serious or consistent enough to get any attention. Certainly making its way there though!

I don't know what it is but update 3 doesn't seem as snappy as the original 2017/02 Early Access release.

The same project takes considerably longer to load in 3 with screen refreshes taking longer.

I'll keep testing.

Anyone know if the previous ER gui issues have been fixed?

I've just tested cs persistence. that seems back to normal now.

That's be going on for a while now. It happened to me again earlier today.
