I cannot get the automation of enabling the Pro Channel EQ or bands within the EQ to work. If I click to manually set the Now Time, the current state of automation will reflect properly. If I let the project play, the Pro Channel EQ and/or bands within that EQ will not reflect the current state of automation.
 
Is anyone else able to duplicate this? I experienced this with 2017.01 and both of the early release 2017.2's. I did not verify any other versions other than these.
 
If anyone would like a visual demonstration of this issue, I can produce a video on it later tonight (if requested).

EDIT: In the video I mention that I am automating two bands within the ProChannel. I meant to say that I am enabling the EQ Module itself on this one. However, the results are identical when automating bands within the ProChannel EQ.

Wow scook, I just looked at that. I am not entirely sure that these are the same thing, but they could be. If so, I think this is quite an issue that should be looked into. In the meantime when I get into the studio tonight, I will try and rout those tracks into an Aux track and test it there as a work around. If that works I can get this project done. If not, well... I am not sure. I will cross that bridge when I get there.

Probably not. FWIW, I just tested automating QCEQ band on/off and gain on a couple of bands in a bus in 2017.01 and third early release of 2017.02. It works for me regardless of focus or selection.

I tested this out with an Aux track and that works properly. So for now, if I need to automate the QuadCurve EQ in the ProChannel, I will need to do that on an Aux track rather than a Buss.
 
If anyone else comes across this, the workaround is use an Aux Track.
