i loaded Rapture Pro yesterday...all good very impressed...one issue is i cant access the sounds from Dimension Pro in Rapture Pro....should i be able to????

What specific libraries? "Sounds from Dimension Pro" can mean a lot of things...
What libraries can you play in Rap Pro?
Also what does "access" mean - do you see the samples? Does nothing come out when you play them? What is happening?

Yes - you should be able to.
 
Expansions may have to have their MultiSamples linked/copied  ... or reinstall the expansion to lay down the multisamples to any new destination defined to RapPro.

Your base DimPro expansions should have been picked up by sourcing the multisamples location from your registry.
See:
a. Where your DimPro multisamples directory is
b. Where RapPro is looking

from a Command Prompt - cmd.exe type:
a. reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\dp" /f multi
b. reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Rapture Pro\2.0" /f multi
 
and see what's returned - enroute to a solution.
