I have got that Synth 1 manual as well.  Although the block diagram is fairly normal or basic, it is the modulation routings that give it the ability to create some very interesting patches.  The modulation routings will be the main focus of my block diagram I think.  As well as the normal stuff of course. 

Today I figured out that you can set the Pitch Bend range to 0 octaves, then set one of the modulation sources to Pitch Bend, then select any destination for that one.  You now have a second Mod Wheel (without any bending).  Cool!
