I got a canned response from their FB messenger.  I decided to post this on other forums.  Asked for a refund, gave the tutorial a half star.  Hopefully I wont have to change back the title.

Just a note, using Tracktion and free VSTs, VSTis and SFZ instruments you can make music completely free if you own anything resembling a modern computer and an internet connection available. It isn't FL Studio and Spitfire or OT but a decent DAW, fine effects and every major orchestral and band instrument are available free and legal. No one has to steal to make music.

My agreement with Udemy if just fine fyi. My course has be active, successful & helpful to my students for almost a year(no issues) (:You’re just really bored & jealous Paul. Your negativity is not welcome!((:

This is clearly a case of the instructor being out of line. Udemy should obviously shut down his course. I can see many points regarding piracy, but the black and white of it is that it is illegal and no legit course should be encouraging it.

I think, you've done it all to inform the rights owner and Udemy staff. Maybe it's about time to calm down?
