I know this has been talked about but it seems more severe now?

It seems that every time I re-open a project, first call to the synth rack lis opened locked to the right.

I have moved it where I prefer and saved the project only to find it again on the right.

Am I not saving it correctly(?) or is the bug now worse?

Anybody else?

That's not happening for me.

Have you eked wether it's part of a Lens or Screenset that's active when the Project opens.

Hmmm...

I guess it's possible, though I don't currently use lenses.

But even if I did. If I change the rack to floating and save the song. Close the rack (don't want the song to open with the rack) and save it again.

The next time I open the project and call the rack it's docked back on the right.

Please have a look at the thread from the Problem reports forum below. Is that what you're referring to?

Synth rack does not remember its undocked state (2017.01)

Hello all,
I mentioned this earlier in a thread. Except, I  cannot get any moving around modules to stay where I  save them. Someone talked about saving in mix (scene). This just started a couple of updates ago. Doesn't matter what I  do or where I  save, close down and when reopened, not saved. Luckily it hasn't  affected  workflow. Just have to move around  modules each time I  open project. An explanation would be nice, or is this a bug.

Thanks cyberzip.

I just made a tiny confirmation post there as well. I guess I didn't get bothered enough the month before? 👽

As to other windows not returning to their positions? It seems many code calls must be using a library source that on first call defaults to upper left corner. Then f moved it will return to its new location while the project/code is inning only to again be back to default next time a song is opened. Maybe the macro doesn't allow for change?

I know that it's been such for what feels, "forever"!

This could be a locked screen set.

I believe some of this started with 2017.01 because here the browser won't remember its minimized state anymore i.e. after save / close / reopen project, the browser seems to be always expanded although I usually keep it minimized/closed

Here's hoping they can fix this before the official release.

Has anyone placed it in the problem reporter? Is that being used anymore for this?

Hmmm... I'll have to look at that.

Thanks. I hadn't thought to look for that.
