Hey all,

I've just noticed that my 64 bit versions of VIP, Triple Play and Rapture session crash right after opening. There may be others but I haven't checked them all yet. They work fine when I run them inside Splat, Maschine etc. The 32 bit standalone versions open with no problem. Not really sure how long this has been happening since I usually use them in a host program like Sonar. Any ideas would be awesome. Thanks!

I haven't had real good luck with the standalone wrapper that Cakewalk uses for their virtual synths.  I much prefer using a third party, lightweight VST host like SAVIHost...

The standalone .exe files are what are crashing on start up. Tried running as admin but same problem.

Did you move where the exes are run from?  While the crash is onscreen, you can use task manager to save off a crash dump.  Shouldn't be too large in this case.  Then you can attach that to a problem report and let us know the number here.

Hi Keith,

Thank you for your help. The problem report is CWBRN-72558. No files have been moved. This seems to be happening with several 64 bit standalone program .exe files including Rapture Session, Triple Play, VIP and maybe a few others which I have not tried. The 32 bit .exe standalone versions open fine. I can open the 64 bit versions in host programs like Sonar Platinum, Maschine etc. I tend to run everything in either Sonar or Maschine, or even Maschine inside of Sonar so this may have been happening for a little while. Thanks again.
