Can't for the life of me figure out why my volume automation is not working. I can hand-draw nodes into the automation lane and sonar will read them, but my track sliders will not work in "write" mode. I engage the "write" button in the track, but nothing happens when I hit play and ride the fader.
 
Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks! Hand drawing volume envelopes just kills the workflow... 

Works here for volume and pan. I only tested these.
I click the [W] button, it turns red. I press the spacebar to start play and wiggle one of the aforementioned widgets. - automation writes.

Yep. Mine does all that, except write. Haven't tried pan, but I will.

Is this in all projects or a specific one?

You said you engage the "Write" button....but did you engage the "R" (Read Button)?

Pretty sure it's on by default.

Haven't tried in any other project but this one. Good thought, though. I'll try another and see if it works in that one.

Yes, "read" is engaged. But, with the failed "write," there's nothing in the automation lane to read.

Well, whatever the problem was, it cleared itself up when I decided to reboot the computer. I think it might have been my Novation AutoMap, because I was using a slider on my Impulse to control faders at first, then switched back to mouse control of my Sonar faders. Maybe Sonar got confused?
