Hi all

I am considering the Waves SSL collection that is on offer at the moment

I currently use the pro channel and enjoy the convenience of it being easy to see

I have been watching some pro tools tutorials and noticed they have a "plug in window" - so when a different track is selected the "plugin window" stays open and the plugin changes to the relevant one for the track

I am a long term sonar user but never had the need for this type of feature

Does it exist - e.g. Via the multi dock or another method?

If I use an SSL strip on every channel I would love an easy way to access the controls across different tracks (like I can with the pro channel)

Anyone have any ideas or an existing workflow with the SSL (or other channel strip)

(Or any views on the Waves SSL - I can seeing it for around $180 on a discount plugin site!!! Seems like a bargain

Hi, This is probably not relevant, but Softube's Console1 does exactly that with a SSL (SL 4000 E) strip / channel (now including (a selection of) UAD2 plugins. 
A new mkII is under way, with a lower price tag.
I just LOVE the integration with SONAR, and the added UAD2 plugins support
