It has a dedicated remote iOS app for iPad.
Been at it for 2 days going over all the features, putting it through heavy paces, and watching YouTube videos.
I like it. A lot. 
It has comping, a "pro channel", and midi editing is fine.
 
Just downloaded the remote app.  Gonna test it out.

How does the routing compare to SPLAT? I rely heavily on side-chain, aux mixes and busses.

It has all three (routing).  But it has more...you can drop instruments onto instruments, then drop effects on to that.
I would be nowhere without watching Youtube videos.  The first day, on my own, I was lost.  After finding two good Youtube channels I was up to speed fast.  I recommend it:

if you mean the event list view, there isn't one (yet)

I have Studio One 3, that I got with a Presonus purchase.  Never did anything with it but I'm starting to learn it. 
Presonus is half price at Sweetwater, "Black Friday sale".
