I have a drawer full of Cakewalk shirts, some of which are more than 10 years old and most of which are getting pretty ragged. So I was very glad to get some new ones recently. I often wear them to gigs, where more than once it's been a conversation starter with another musician who happened to be in the audience. I'm at an age where, rather than chatting up drunk girls, I'd really rather talk about DAWs.

Hi Mesh, I had also a crash issue with TH3 and CbB. It happened when I clicked the Interleave button (to mono). Doing the same in Splat did not cause a crash. After some research I found out that it only crashed with the VST2 version of TH3 (which I used in CbB, but not in Splat). Using the VST3 version of TH3 did not crash in either DAW! Maybe this information helps you!

Thanks Marc, I'll take look at that....I believe I only have VST2 installed (although if the option was there, I generally will install VST3 too).

No issues here at all. I use midi and go deep and then mix audio and midi. Works like a charm here. So happy Sonar lives on. Like Bit Flipper, I would have continued with Splat the way it was even if these guys didn't take it on. But glad somebody did. Great stuff really.

...I would like to see substantial changes in that direction instead of tiny "monthly updates" with cosmetic features and non deep bug fixes. In the past, I could understand the existance of monthly updates because there was a monthly subscription model but today there is no need on keep going that way. I am grateful to Bandlab for giving this amazing DAW for free and for removing all the "bloatware" but I don't want to be in an eternal "insiders" program with this monthly updates system. Honestly I hate it.

I really like the regular updates and they've been working great for me.  Put it this way - you have the choice of not installing every single release if that's what works for you, but I (and others) would not have the option at all if those updates weren't available.  At least the current process allows users in both camps to choose what works best for them.
