I downloaded of FXpansion  Strobe 2 for a Coursera course that I am auditing on Creating Electronic Music.  I am trying to get it to become a Plugin on my Sonar Platinum but for the life of me I can;t see to get it recognized.  Any clue as to why or how to get it to show-up in the Platinum Plugins

Hi . . . did the Fxpansion install give you a choice of where to install the plugin ?  . . . and is that plugin path included in Sonar's VST plugin scanning path . . . as shown in "Preferences - VST Settings - VST Scan Paths" ?

Do a search for strobe.dll and locate the library's folder... make sure that folder is in the sonar scan pattern... like noy mentioned

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback.  As it turns out I was saving the Plug-In to the wrong folder.  I am now able to use it with Platinum.  Sorry  but is it a shallow learning curve for me sometimes.
