[ One Stupid Question per Day -- that's all I ask ]

I'm working my way through tutorials. I find lots of small items that indicate changes in the UI over version changes that aren't reflected in the docs, but I can usually find them moved elsewhere or they're small enough to ignore and move on. I can't find this one and it seems important:

Page: http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Playback.19.html

First para: "SONAR has a Mono/Stereo button  in each track module in the Track Inspector and Console view."
(See the page at the link if the icon doesn't render in the above sentence)

Feedback: I'm looking all over the Track Inspector and the track in Console View and see no icon like that, nor any UI element that has a "Stereo / Mono" hot-tip (popup message on mouse-over). I looked in Tracks view for it as well.

Is it me once again, or is this functionality missing?

My version is in the sig below.

Thanks, Chris

If you are using Instrument Tracks for VSTi's, the mono/stereo button is not available for simple Instrument Tracks - for which there is at least one feature request to rectify.

The images in the help are based on the Mercury theme. The theme setting is in Preferences > Customization > Themes

Thanks, now I see it in either theme at the same place, I realize that I was thrown by the term "Interleave" in the hot-tip, which isn't mentioned in the help.

Should I be asking these kinds of questions in the Bakery (http://bakery.cakewalk.com/Questions), or is this forum okay?

Either place is fine. This forum has a lot more traffic.

If you are using an earlier version of Sonar you will see a different interleave symbol. I believe that the current one was first introduced in Sonar X3.

EDIT:
I see from your signature that you are using Platinum, so ignore my comment.
