Up until a few days ago I thought punching out meant I was done for the day.
I've been looking at all kinds of information on punch recording and am able to set my punch and loop points.
I start the recording and get in the groove. When I get to the punch point it all records just fine then loops back to the beginning of the groove as expected.
The only problem I'm having is: I keep hearing the first take as well as the new take. It really throws me off and I end up with a take that was worse than the first one.
How do I record the new part without hearing the previous one? I still want to hear the first take up until the punch in point.
Sorry for all the stupid questions, but I'm new. ;)
