Hey there was just trying to set up a comparison between two mixes and mix recall is not working.
Using the drop-down menu and save as new scene does work and progresses up as in I am now saving Mix 6 but there is no option to recall any of the previous mixes or see any way to recall mixes.
Recall previous scene is greyed out
as is also rename seen, delete scene, delete all scenes.
Can someone make a suggestion as to what the problem might be?
Sorry for the formatting I am posting from my Droid phone because I've got my audio partition booted and am not able to use my computer to get to the forum.

Thank you!

Thanks
It's not critical to get it working but it would be helpful in this situation.
Maybe someone else will know what is wrong or suggest some things to try.

Here's an afterthought
Is it possible that it is because the project was started in a previous version of sonar?
Specifically X3.

It doesn't work at all for me either. Everything's greyed out except for "reset mix" and "Mix Recall Settings" in the drop down menu. I've tried opening brand new projects and it doesn't do anything.

someone that says it is working for them.

Works correctly! But I do not understand what does "mix recall" in  Sonar x3. Function "mix recall" is much newer ...

If Mix Recall doesn't work, maybe the project can't find its MixScenes folder.

Would that folder be located in "Cakewalk Content" and if it's not there could we create it? And would it then find it? I'll Experiment.

Look in your project folder. You should see the .cwp file of the project itself, the Audio folder containing the audio in the project, and a MixScenes folder containing your Mix Scenes.

I highly recommend creating a separate folder for each project, and saving your .cwp file into that. Then all your project-related elements, as listed above, will appear in that folder and the MixScenes folder will be created automatically.

However if you do not create a Mix Scene before closing a project, then the MixScenes folder will go away (although one will be created again when you re-open the project). I recommend saving a Mix Scene before you close a project anyway so you have the state of the mix preserved if you want to return to it at some point.

For me, MixScenes has been stable and predictable.
