LOL... I am on my phone a lot, and cannot rate on that. Thank you for the heads up! Are we supposed to rate each response or just the OP?

This is new for me too but I think you rate the OP and can give a thumbs up or thumbs down to any of the posts/comments.
Thanks everyone,
Randy

OK, from what I could find in a quick Google search, Logic, Cubase and Studio One apparently have this ability, while SONAR, Live and Reaper do not.  Here's Logic's approach for reference: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13396

Looks like a nice addition for the MIDI preferences section.

Reaper do have this feature. And I believe Pro Tools also have it.
Really hope we can get it in Sonar!

I am new to Sonar and was very surprised this wasn't an option... I do a lot of string arranging and this is a must to be able to work fast. Samplitude, Protools, Studio One, Logic, Cubase, they all have this as an option... Yes, it should be optional because it can be annoying in other scenarios, but for my workflow it is essential...

Thanks Genius...if you want, you can rate it as to how important you think it is by clicking on one of the 5 stars in the OP.
Thanks again,
Randy

I think it's not a really easy task to make this as realistic as possible.
Only to trigger a note-on event could fail on longer evolving sounds. But maybe better as nothing.
