I am working with the piano roll editor in MC6. I am having great difficulty doing editing with the mouse. I have watched a tutorial and I have experience in the past with no problems with moving, changing duration, etc. But getting going again, it is very odd behavior. If i try to extend a note it is only going in jumps of a full measure, I do not have precise control over the length. Also when I try to move it (on the left handle) the note either does not move or even disappears. It is really awkward what is happening and makes no sense to me. The rest of the program seems absolutely just fine. I am in windows 7. Has anyone ever heard or seen anything like this or have any ideas as to what is happening? No other programs are giving me any trouble and no mouse problems anywhere else. Thank you much, from Clifford ********** PS JUST FIGURED IT OUT. Snap to grid was on and distorting all the normal behaviors. I have turned it off and all is working great.
