Did you try running the installer again and choose 32bit? It may work like the manual SONAR install process.

I did not.  I was afraid that it might uninstall the 64-bit version.  But I guess I will try that now.

On edit -- This did seem to work.  I did not use the classic installer at all.  I did everything from the control center.  This was really strange.  When I first pulled up the control center, it has red dots for Rapture Pro and for all the content items.  I installed everything and selected 64-bit.

After that install completed, the content items all showed green, but Rapture Pro was still red.  At that point Rapture Pro was available in 64-bit Platinum as a VST3, so I don't really understand why it still showed red.  But that allowed me to run that part of the install again from the control center, this time requesting 32-bit.  That completed and then everything showed green.

After that second install, Rapture Pro was available in Finale (which is 32-bit) and all the content seemed to be there.  It is all working.  The install just wasn't what I expected.

And now for the benefits ... Working in Finale, I am not generally trying to produce super-realistic playback.  If I need to do that, then I'll take all the MIDI over to SONAR.  My goal within Finale is usually to hear all the voices clearly.  I used Rapture Pro to replace my normal bass guitar with a bass voice that had a bit more HF and attack to is, and that allowed me to take the bass down in the mix, making the winds easier to hear.  That's a very rudimentary application of Rapture pro that is actually quite beneficial to me.

It's VST/AU, works in any host that supports those formats. It will work as 32- or 64-bit on Windows. And yes, the intro price will be available through the end of May. We'll be shipping before that.

This is the offer of $79.00 to existing users isn't it? So this should still be available?

Cakewalk store is showing $149.00 for me, I'm logged in and a Platinum user, I also bought Dim Pro before it was incorporated into Sonar, and x3, 8.5 and some version before.

Yeah, make sure you are logged in at the store and click to buy it, the price in the cart should be $79. You can also get it at JRR Shop for $65 or something with the code GROUP at checkout

Thanks JRR has become my preferred second option since splashing out with them last November.

I had just enough time to install and briefly play with it in standalone mode before getting called away... ugh.
I've got a clear schedule for the next couple of days and the will to turn the phone off lol.
After I go mow the weeds to a city-acceptable level and install my new NAS bay I'll be jumping into the Rapture Pro pool head first.

Maybe it is my imagination or maybe my ignorance, not being all that familiar with the existing synth technology, but it seems like most of the "new content" with Rapture Pro is actually just two or three regular patches mixed together.  While those combined sounds are cool and all, I am mainly looking for distinct voices.  I guess that stuff is stall available in the legacy folders.

Am I looking at this wrong?
