I noticed a WD Blue 2TB over $100.  Usually Blacks that sise run around $119.  Looks like SSD drives for streaming is on hold for me.

I may go back to HDD as I can get more storage space for a fraction of the space for SDD prices.

yea, this sucks... but it just means slower load times and poorer streaming...I can't seem to stop buying all the new libraries... heck, ARK2 is 65 gigs... long enough to recouperate and get more SSDs!  I may try to pick up one or two 1TBs... crucial and muskin are still under 260... that should do it for me for the year till things settle down (or not!).

I do need to stop buying other libs... this is more important!

In the mean time, move your  most used libraries to SSD and offload your others to USB3 fast drives... I got two 2TBs recently very cheap... Fantom's and they load fast.  Copied loads of libraries over to them to use in a new laptop and was very impressed.

Still see see a few 1TBs for $250 on egg but who knows for how long... Samsung has screwed up royally with phones and right now is way over priced... Can get a 1 TB vertical 3d nand crucial for $260...

Fry's has a 3TB WD Blue for $79.  Not shopping for SSD drives for storage anymore.

I designed power electronics for disk drives for several years. I was talking to one of my good friends who is a designer at a company that makes SSDs who says that the demand for storage is the highest it's ever been driving the cost of storage media up.

He also told me about how Amazon has found that it's quicker to transmit data by truck http://www.wsj.com/articles/amazon-extends-web-based-artificial-intelligence-1480529802 then over the internet.
