I am sure that in due course, the forum will outline what is new.

One thing I noticed is that you can now enable Bandlab analytics. It asks if you wish to enable it upon first startup of this version.

Another change is that you now have the ability to disable the startup toast notification. That's now done in Preferences | Customisation | Display -> Show Notifications. You can deselect the notifications you don't wish to see.

Doesn't matter which Project I open, after loading all synths and Plugins Cakewalk crashes without notification.
I installed Version 7 (Juli) and everything's fine again!

Oh the irony Last month you get a new feature, the toast while loading a project, the next month the only feature, See Here is how to disable it you got to laugh, it's like a free throw in Basketball . . . points on the board

With the new update, Cakewalk chrashes immediately when opening a project. How to install previous version?

I got an error while installing CbB update.
"C:\Users\Public\Documents\Overloud\REmatrix Solo\IRLibraries\FACTORY.rir" File not found. (Abort, Retry or Ignore)
 
So I needed to turn off Windows defender "Ransomware protection" on Windows 10 while installing CbB update. Is this normal? Only me?

Downloaded and installed the new CbB (2018.8 build 30) update without issue. I needed to log out and log back in to Bandlab Assist for it to show the update as available though. As a quick test, I successfully opened and played back a few previous projects loaded with a slew of various third party plugins (UAD, Toontrack, Slate, WAVES, Softube etc...). So far so good.....
