That was quick, but I was hoping that my problem was solved. I wrote a month ago that since the update 2018.07 the playlist window is no longer correct to zoom down. Since then Sonar is no longer usable on my laptop.

Since Jon decided to make the announcement in this thread I am updating the OP.

"What's New" and "Cakewalk by BandLab Release Notes doc." are not updated yet. Why?
Which site do I have to check and trust each time?

IIRC, hotfixes rarely get added to user documentation. They address regression errors in the previous release.  The fixes are mentioned in Jon's post.

I downloaded the 32 version and what I checked/tried worked OK.  I did not download the 30 version because of all the problem reports.

Obviously a it's bit late now, but what I've done is copied:

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core
to
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core 2018.07

I can then run the Cakewalk.exe from within "Cakewalk Core 2018.07" to use the previous version.

It's probably worth doing something like this before each upgrade.

Dose this work to keep previous versions?
Have you actually managed to roll back?

I liked the way CCC saved all updates to a folder called Downloads so I could save them to an ext drive.
dose bandlab version do something similar and where would it be on my C drive
Thanks

It works fine. In fact, it is possible to run the old version straight out of the renamed folder. Keep in mind, the shared folders would still be updated.

This is how I have multiple version of SONAR Platinum and CbB available on my PC.

I also keep the Cakewalk installers just in case there is a need to rollback the shared folders. While BandLab Assistant deletes the installer, it is possible to make a copy of the installer before it gets deleted. Make the copy while the installer is waiting for user input. BandLab Assistant downloads into %appdata%\bandlab-assistant\Downloads
