Win 10 when updating will change some power settings , restore defaults of win 10 to its own settings...and install applications that run in background ...to my knowledge, of what i say is bloat ware.
So here is where the redundancy issue is being forced of devices running behind the scenes of your OS...If you defeat internet Nic..(short for Saint Nickolas it seems baring gifts you asked not for, in terms now?).and it has issues with your audio driver or device....And MS wants that Nic on...Regardless of what you set it for off or on, or made redundant if driver is put in os for....Its tied in and uses it...on or off...as set, if set to disabled.
This auto updates feature of OS is where Power management, and other settings is defeated by....MS, because it wants your data...sent out.
Try to understand that, and I hope the developers do also try...Because it is causing issues with many folks unaware.
That said...try removing the Nic drivers and turning off things that are no longer needed when you want to use CW in BIOS....might be a stretch of work...to do...but it may help you and your audio driver/device function better, and CW product function better with out the internet or wi fi...As these drivers come more into play to make things of ease to connect to, and gain help or put up to the cloud...or what ever you post to or go to on internet for...You are tied to a door of hazard also...of function...the function of the cpu, the drives on your build...the working ethics..the Protocols of the settings put by user, for usery of licence...To do the multifunctions needed uninterrupted cycles of those parts there in, needed.
That way...it should clear the use of...CW and Devices necessary for uninterrupted cycles to complete the Buffer run.
But...Not knowing how MS has tied in the trace and track policies, to turn on or off Motherboard features regardless of Bios setting, if drivers are not put in to the setup, might foil some of its workings while getting maximum performance out of the Machine to do the task at hand with devices connect MS cares not about when being used...as Third party devices are not its concern!
....MS will put them in a error state once you do install the NIc drivers for internet and connect to the internet....If so doing it...(and there is some evidence it does do)logging error in events and services not able to do that ...cause a unresolvable interruption in cpu cycles....Causing either noise, and or hanging, and or improper usage of device and service hickups....So, to say one thing is solvable....if you do this....MS might do something else to stop the doings...Makes it harder to trouble shoot the problem....As some things work for some people using differing audio solutions....and some things work for others with other setups fine.
A crap shoot...try, test...buffers are dependant on...cpu and memory...So,...If this is not cause for alarming some, to try to see into how things work on computers...Some of what the OS does do...and not fall short of knowing how to or causes made by...if so using...or it uses when work is being done.
Sloppy engaging of, or forced wait times to resolve Buffers and such...will glitch up that process up.
Perhaps this is where much of the interference comes from....
I do wonder and fear that forced update policy's doings, is doing here....and other things looking for updates....also.
All this unaware multi tasking...using the devices for...while you try to use one thing using same things ....is hard to diag or dial into the causes for...such things.
That said....Time to try Buffers...But as it is said also...it may not solve.
If such things are going on...it will be time to solve that ....by trying all things known to help...and if not helping...new things thought that might.
Best of the Day
