No worries :)

Some good advice from folk about not jumping in too quick.
You can try z3ta+2 for free here --> http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/Z3TA

Funnily enough I tried to do my first EDM track recently. It's not normally my bag but a friend wants to buy Sonar to do EDM music so I had a go on his behalf. I struggled to stay within the confines of what comes with Sonar Platinum and ended up using quite a lot from the Air Instruments Expansion pack 3 ( here ) which was about 60 pounds after buying Air Xpand 2 for 1 pound. Again you can demo it without buying. Not that I'm saying it can't be done with what comes with Platinum but I found it easier to use 3rd party stuff.

There are also tutorials for it.  Make your own stuff.

Not sure what you want? As Bristol_Jonsey said, keep your cash in your pocket then. Take advantage of demos until you find what you want. I have had Komplete for many years now and that's great for me, but doesn't mean it's great for you too. There are plenty of others I have too. I will say this though, on the handful of times I have tried Z3TA+ I've never been able to put it to good use. It's not really my thing.
