Even figured out what was wrong with my S/PDIF signal from the POD HD.
Care to share ?? (it will help others in the future)

Actually there's nothing to share. I selected the S/PDIF input today with the default settings on the Focusrite and lo and behold, signal was there. Must have been operator error initially.
