This is a mega SOS!

*backstory* I tried to boot my Macbook Pro laptop's hard drive OSX 10.7 operating system using a desktop G5 as a host, just to test processing speeds, and when I opened one of my live sets, Z3ta+2 asked to re-enter my registration code.  Kind of weird.

Since then, in a normal laptop boot, Z3ta+2 has asked me to enter my registration code every single time I open it in a new session.  Suddenly it just stopped making sounds after.

When I first open Z3ta+2, it asks me to enter my reg code again, and afterwards it will play sound for that one track.  Any iteration of Z3ta+2 will be completely silent after that until I re-open Live and re-enter the registration code.  It's almost as if I'm entering the code, and it's acting like I'm unregistered anyway.

This happens with Live 9 and Live 8.  I've repaired permissions, and I've followed instructions to completely wipe out Z3ta+2 and then re-installed.  Nothing changed.

Z3ta+2 is the backbone synth of my music, and all of my music is broken until I can get this back online.  It would suck to have to reinstall my OS or something.  Please help me fix or diagnose this truly troubling situation :-/

Thanks,
-Ben Encanti

Just an update:  Josh at Cakewalked helped me out!

All I had to do was find my User/Library (which is hidden by default on Mac OSX, bah!) and delete the Cakewalk P.lists from my audio preferences /by host folder.

Have the same problem with registering Zeta 2. Got my serial number + registration key but Zeta keeps asking for the number everytime I startup the plugin. Deleting the .plist file didn't help.

Any more suggestions?

I put it a ticket yesterday and had a reply first thing this morning. Known issue. The gentlemen at Cakewalk are working on a fix.

Just updated to OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and having the same problem. Everything is silent. Anyone else on that operating system having any luck? Have about 8 album tracks that are useless without this problem getting fixed :-0

I think I saw somewhere the suggestion to roll back the offending update until a fix becomes available.
