I was thinking it would be nice to have a handy list for people if they would care to contribute.

Thread Rules (if I may be so bold as the OP):

1) Post the full make model of your hardware in bullet list fashion.
2) DO NOT post if your hardware isn't working.
3) Check if others have posted before, keen to avoid duplicates.
4) If you want post driver version and URL.

Let's see if this works... Fingers crossed...

Thanks..

Old Focusrite Saffire 6 usb fired right up!
On the other hand, installation of  Studio-Captures went well on Windows 7 computer being upgraded to 10. No issues!
THEN, upgraded Windows 8.1 on laptop. NO DRIVERS FOR STUDIO CAPTURES IN SONAR PLATINUM!!!!!!
After gut-wrenching for about an hour I stumbled across the fix. I was going to uninstall the drivers and try the driver hack for 8.1. I uninstalled the old drivers and VIOLA! The new drivers suddenly appeared. It seems the old drivers were keeping the new drivers from being read.
I would suggest uninstalling your drivers for Studio-Captures before upgrading to Windows 10. So the new drivers will be cleanly installed. I have no explanation for why this did not happen to the windows 7 installation. At any rate, someone should notify Roland about this episode.

The W8 drivers

edit - actually the win8 driver (i think 5.8) was a bit goofy, randomly reassigning output to headphone or outs 3/4. uninstalled and went back to 5.71 which works perfectly.

Focusrite Pro 40

Upgraded to Windows 10 and the first thing I noticed that windows 10 is going to try to install it's own version of drivers, thus my network went kaboom and did not work...looked in Device manager and sure enough, instead of saying Intel drivers, said Microsoft network drivers...
of course, I couldn't get access to the internet, soooo..I had to roll back to windows 7, download the latest intel NIC card drivers and then re-upgrade back to windows 10....installed the correct NIC card driver and voila, working, but then I noticed when I went to turn on my Focusrite pro 40 interface, it would act like trying to start and sync to the firewire, but then go into a loop....
figured, if Microsoft borked my NIC card driver, it might have borked my interface driver....did a complete un-install of my audio interface driver and re-installed it....voila....working again....
Microsoft needs to rethink of upgrading one's drivers when upgrading a computer to windows 10.....
I haven't done a complete F&R yet, but will and see how that goes:)

  • Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 - Mixcontrol 3.6, standard Windows Firewire drivers (not legacy).
  • Focusrite Scarlett SOLO - USB driver version 3.1.10.221
I had these drivers running under Windows 8.1 and they maintained through the upgrade.
The first is on my DAW the second is on my laptop.

EDIT:
The Focusrite download page for the Pro 14 is not up to date. You can download the Pro 40 Mixcontrol if you want the latest version.
I confirmed this with Focusrite.
