knock on wood... i have a VIA VT6308 chip in my Gigabyte mobo and my Saffire Pro 24 has worked so far.  Saffire mix control 3.4.

focusrite has an app on their site that will analyze your firewire chipset and give advice on it...

All of my recording hardware and software works in Win 10.  I did have to use a hack for my Roland PCR-500, and had to wait several days for Roland to issue Win 10 compatible drivers for my Studio-Capture and Octa-Capture.
The iLok License Manager works OK in Win 10.

My hardware (all working).
Behringer BCF2000
Roland Studio-Capture
Roland Octa-Capture
Frontier Tranzport (had to be installed in a Vista compatibility mode due to the drivers)
Roland PCR-500 (hacked Win 8.1 driver).

OK this isn't W-10 but I think it relates because someone might stop and think they have a problem. I have W-8.1 on a Studiocat Pro tower. I got a message yesterday from the Alerts icon down on the taskbar telling me that the driver install for the Octa-Capture failed to install. I opened device manager and audio or sounds. Octa was there and everything was working. I looked at the Driver tab and it told me "no driver needed". It works but I could very easily have spent time trying to fix something that isn't a problem and in the process made a problem.
I bet the same thing would be the case in W-10 but I don't know.

Please read opening post and subject title. Let's try to stick to topic and avoid diluting this thread. Thanks.

I was thinking it would be nice to have a handy list at hand for people if they would care to contribute.

Thread Rules (if I may be so bold as the OP):

1) Post the full make model of your hardware in bullet list fashion.
2) DO NOT post if your hardware isn't working.
3) Check if others have posted before, keen to avoid duplicates.
4) If you want post driver version and URL.

Let's see if this works... Fingers crossed...

Thanks..
