Sorry I went AWOL. Thanks for the tips and advice. So I can turn linear mode off? How do I do that?

If you are tracking with virtual instruments, try clicking on the "Expert" button in the LP-EQ window, and select Non-Linear precision.  You can still use the EQ bands like normal, but without the delay.
 
When I do that all my VSTi latency goes away.

Cakewalk has updated LP-MB and LP-EQ.  The latest version of these is available in Command Center.

They have also included updated presets in the Mixing and Mastering categories.
 
The Mixing presets have Non Linear precision selected by default.  These are some very useful plugins!
