  • [Solved] Bypass FX button working backwards?

Hey Folks,
All of a sudden now the bypass FX button works backwards. When I click on the button to bypass the effects, they remain enabled. When I click the button off, the effects get turned off and when I click it on again the effects come on with it. No matter how I try to fix it it always reverts to this behavior. I tried  having the button off and manually turned on the effects. I turn the button on and the effects remain enabled. When I turn it off, the effects turn off also. Any ideas how to return this function to its proper behavior?

Thanks,
Mike

Any chance you're using a Theme that has the images reversed?

I'll be darned! You are right. I recently switched to Rflint's theme "Logic-easy to the eye" and he had set his theme up this way with the FX icon off status programmed with a blue color. I was able to import the graphic from the mix module in the Tungsten theme and and now the FX button is back working correctly. Thanks so much for leading me in the right direction..

Cool. Maybe PM RFlint, and he can fix it the file he linked in that thread.

And Brundlefly must surely get an award for diagnostic excellence!

Actually, no. He was one of the initial inductees into the Diagnostic Excellence Hall of Fame, so getting awards is no longer possible. Same with scook...they just kept winning award after award, so the distinguished panel of judges decided it was time to let some others have a shot at it.

It's like when Guitar Player magazine did their Reader's Polls, and the same guitarists always won year after year. So they created a "Gallery of the Greats" for those players, which made them ineligible for future voting.

Besides, I think Brundlefly was actually getting a bit tired of all those awards. Apparently the mantle on his fireplace crashed to the ground from the added weight of his twin awards in 2013, leaving him with a hefty repair bill.
