Hi.
Sonar X3 Studio user.
My last project I saw something different that was happening from previous projects. I don't remember if I accidentally changed something but I'm sure I'll find answers here.
On previous projects, on the top of the time line where it displays measure numbers (ex. Measure 51.2.00, 51.3.00 etc) when I ran the cursor over this area I would see small number pop up telling me exactly where I was AT THE CURSOR. On the last project I did, I no longer saw the numbers pop up. I had to look to the blue numbers to the far left of the time line to tell me what measure I was in, which is a bit more inconvenient. What could I have done to make these little pop up numbers not display? How do I get this feature back?
Also, If I wanted to slow the whole timeline down (on a MIDI instrument track) to help do a difficult passage I could just slow the tempo down at the blue display in the top center. This past project I had to go into the menu (Process, I think) and choose the Series of tempo changes and figure out where I needed to slow it down, then speed the whole project back up to desired tempo using that menu choice. Again, what could've changed and can I get it back to how it acted previously?
While I'm on tempo changes, Is there any way I can slow the time down temporarily to record an audio track where the audio track would stay in sync with the MIDI (or previously recorded audio). I have an electric guitar I'd like to get into my act, but I'm not in any way a Jimi Hendrix but I could make some decent guitar licks if I "cheat". But if I do this with a MIDI backing, the guitar won't sync when I speed it up? Can this be done? Would appreciate any tips ( besides "take guitar lessons"

).
Thanks
