I wish I could remember who told me to get the Deoxit

I swear you don't even read my posts

have you tried to open up the back of the MCU and spray some deoxite on the fader tracks ? this might help / quick fix.

LOL Chuckebaby,

Notice I kept saying I didn't know who told me to use the Deoxit over and over again....  I remembered it was you, but as folks read the post, I was hoping they would realize it was you without me having to tell them.   Sooooo, actually THEY are not reading your post, because it was written in your post that YOU were writing about the Deoxit that helped ME.

Thanks all for the ongoing discussion,
Its helped me know, the Mackie, MCU Pro seems to integrate well with Sonar (and Presonus doesn't), and is well known by Sonar users, as I was going post the MCU question separately, now more confident in making investment in it.
and,
What to use on those scratchy old guitar pots and and amp contacts,  (contact cleaner Id been using just didn't cut it).
Cheers all, and have a great day.

Great thread on several levels. And always glad to be reminded about Deoxit.
