I wonder if CW had called them workspaces would people be more accepting?

The old screenset module was neat, tidy and allowed to access different screensets just by clicking on one of the numbers (1-10) on it. Why was it gotten rid of?

It wasn't! It's still there. I find combining Lenses withe Screen Sets ideal. If you don't like Lenses, set the drop-down menu to "None" and forget about them. I just don't see the reason for all this angst. It's like any other feature: If you don't like it, don't use it. Nothing was taken away.

Well, where is it then? Here is a screenshot:

I've actually just updated to 2016.11 again just to check. It's NOT there, so I'll be reverting yet again, unless I'm missing something here...

Put the lens on none. Your screenset module will show up. From there you can make a lens that has the screenset module with it. None will be your normal setup.

Nope. Doesn't work. The module is nowhere to be seen.

Could be an oversight when compiling Artist. Have you considered entering a problem report?

It does on mine.

I've sent a report to Cakewalk.
It would be great if somebody with Sonar Artist could chime in and let us know whether they still have the Screenset module after updating to 2016.11.
For now I'm reverting to 2016.10 again, can't work without screensets at all.

Posting about screensets in a thread about lenses or the general 2016.11 thread may not be the most efficient way to ask Artist users a question.

Quite possibly, yes. I can't be bothered to start a new thread though. I actually thought that Lenses replaced screensets since the module and key bindings were gone after updating. That's why I started my little rant in this thread.

I really dont have anything more to say here than that I really like lenses. I've wanted something like this for a long time. Just wanted to spread some positive words in this thread. People shouting it's the end of the world just because they forgot to open their eyes ;)
