Very well said Mike.

I have learned more from this forum than I did from the docs.

Like many, I try to chip in with help when I can, but in my case that is far outnumbered by the times I've been helped out by others over the years. Sonar has been my one and only daw for the past 10 years, and it amazes me how people here are prepared to give oodles of their time to help others. I have no idea what the equivalent forums in Steinberg or Logic land are like, but I am constantly grateful to be part of the Sonar family.

YES!!!  EVERY problem that I've ever had with SONAR has been solved here.  I've only used support once, and this forum was able to sort me out before they did

I noticed that first post after your hiatus, Mike, and thought to myself "hmm, mudgel's back, that's good". I should have said so at the time but didn't, to avoid going off-topic. But this thread seems an appropriate opportunity to say welcome back, Mike. And to the noobs reading this: meet Mike, one of the good guys around here.

Great post! And welcome back, Mike.
I have learned a great deal from the wealth of knowledge people are willing to share here, and amazed at the work some are willing to put into helping others.
I try to help out where I can as a "thank you" back for what I have learned.
I am glad to be part of this forum
All the best.
