Hi Guys & Girls,

Quite often when I'm away from home I have an idea and would like to be able to fire up MC6 on my laptop and use the help facility. As I have installed MC6 on my desk top (and used up the only license key I have) would I be able to install the same software on my laptop or would an additional license be required?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Phil Owen.

You're allowed to install on a second computer as long as they're not used simultaneously.

Many thanks for the prompt response. I'll try installing on the lap top.

You will still be prompted to register the new installation.
Just enter the Registration Code that you already have. If you don't have it handy, you can find it in your account at the Cakewalk store.

Cake does allow you to install & register (each individual product that you buy from them) on 2 computers that you own.

Should you sell one of the computers,  just do an uninstall of cake and then you are good to go and can reinstall it on a new computer.

I have migrated my cake across a few computer platforms.
