I don't really get the point of combining the control surface with the audio. I mean... i DO get it... but... I would much prefer they were separate.
totally agree. especially since they combine a large surface with a low I/O audio interface
Well they are separate from the stand point that you use what you need to use. They are exclusive to each other. I like the the idea have having a very high end stereo pre-amp that can be used on the front end if you choose to use them. That's a perfect scenario for a real high end voice over studio - or pro level project house, or integration to a video editing suite. I've used the Nucleus and my brother has one up for sale on Reverb. I don't think anything out there come close to how comprehensive it is. It's just excellent for a high end project or Pro studio.
