I just upgraded from X3 to Platinum and I'm not seeing Adaptive Limiter when I click on "add module" in the Pro Channel.
I'm also not seeing some of my 3rd party modules...how can I add them to this drop down and remove the ones I never use?

Thanks,
R

The Adapter Limiter is a Vst3 plugin, so it will be found under Vst3 fx, and not Pro Channel fx.
All the best.

Hmm, well how can I add it to track...it appears you can't right click a track to add fx any more?

Use the FX bin + sign to add an effect. that's been that way for as long as I can remember.

Right-click in the FX rack should display the plug-in menu. I believe lenses default to None; check your track control setting

I don't doubt that I've just always right clicked the track.
At the risk of being a PITA, is Adaptive Limiter listed as that name?
If so, I'm still not seeing it.

Thanks for your patience,
R

Sorry Steve, I just saw your post.
I'm still not seeing AL...I'm guessing it should be in the uncategorized drop down right?

Thanks again,
R

No, if it was installed (it is in the Engineering FX Suite installer) it will be in the Dynamics category. Most VST3 plug-ins have category tags. VST2 and DX plug-ins do not support category tags. Cakewalk populated the database with category data for some VST2 and DX plug-ins. The VST2 and DX plug-ins not added by Cakewalk and the few VST3 plug-ins that manufactures failed to add tags for show up as uncategorized.

Just like X3 the new SONAR has a search option in the Browser for plug-ins.

I guess it wasn't installed then all I see under Dynamics is CA-2A and LP-MB.
When you say "it is in the Engineering FX Suite installer" I'm guessing you mean in CCC but I'm not seeing that...only Boutique FX suite...is it in there?
Thanks again,
R

I guess not because I just installed the Boutique FX suite and it still doesn't show up
