  • CbB crashes after August update

Since the August update I have a problem with CbB crashing when I attempt to open a project. CbB loads fine, but when I attempt to open a project it causes a crash, CbB prompts to send a report, and then closes. I've sent more than several reports including an email address to receive updates, but have not had any communication from anyone. If I continue trying I can eventually get my project to open, but it takes 2 or more tries to do so. The issue is not resolved with the September update, and in fact seems to be worse. Wondering if anyone else has the problem, whether Bandlab got my reports and whether anyone is working on the issue. I feel like I live in a vacuum sometimes. I realize everyone is busy, but it would be nice to have someone acknowledge they received my error reports and is looking into it.

Build 30 or 32? The build number is at the bottom right in the About screen. If it is build 30, update to get build 32.

How did you report the issue? We don't have any report from you. Note that the old fault reporter is not active currently so you must log issues directly with support.

Thanks for that. I thought this was still the case but was not sure enough to mention in my post.

Build 32 solved it for me

Cheers

I was at build 30 after Tuesday's update. I checked again and saw another update available and ran it, which now has me at build 32, but I still have the issue. there is a Fault Reporter App that gets kicked off when it crashes. You supply an email address and a description of what you were doing when the crash occurred and it goes through the act of sending the report. If this isn't working perhaps it should be removed. I did have contact from Bandlab, and I've sent them a MiniDump directly. Hopefully they can resolve this...
