Pwalpwal, that method doesn't use ARA at all. Not sure if that makes any difference though.

i was testing it as an insert fx, to try & repro what nigel said in post #113

This may save some folks a little time: I've been running Melodyne 4.0.4.001 and I just checked the Celemony site to find they have a 4.0.4.004. Most of the file dates are 2/29/2016 for the former and 3/24/2016 for the latter. (It's tricky because there are a few files dated today, but I think they are autogenerated to support their licensing mechanism.) So 4.0.4.004 does not appear to be update that Noel mentioned , and I've verified that I still get crashes after upgrading.

I just wanted to add that I'm having issues as well.  I have the latest revision of Melodyne 4 editor.  A couple weeks ago I used Melodyne to create a tempo map in a project using last month's Sonar release.  I haven't touched the project till last night after updating to this month's Sonar release.  The project was completely ruined.

Tracks were merged onto previously deleted tracks.  Random clips were merged together.  After an hour of trying to clean it all up and make sense of it all I just deleted the project.  Luckily I created a backup before using Melodyne.  I won't be using Melodyne with Sonar anytime soon.  I've had relatively few issues with other projects not using Melodyne.  What a waste of $400.

FWIW, still no update on the Celemony site. Version 4.0.4.004 is still current.
