  • Are there any free graphic EQ vst plug ins that work in SONAR X3 - 32bit?

I've been searching and a few I found, seem to install correctly but then dont work.

The Marvel EQ from Voxango is working well but I wanted something a bit simpler.. just a plain simple 31 band graphic EQ.

I loaded up a couple and neither seem to work.

Any suggestions?

Haven't used it, but this maybe? http://vst.rjprojects.net/Aqualizer/home.htm

This might also be helpful, but I don't remember the type of EQ included...

If you can still find it, the Kjaerhus EQ fits the bill.

thanks - I have Aqualizer, not sure which version.

The plug in shows up and I can move the sliders... but there's no effect on the mix. Weird. I cant find a bypass button or anything... it seems like the thing is in permanent bypass. Its not the track causing the issue, as the Voxango EQ works on it, thru the exact same method.

Perhaps that link you gave me, will give me a more recent version.

Did you take a look at the Sonitus EQ that comes with X3?

the mildon looks interesting.

Previously I skipped it because I thought it was for Cubase, but it seems like it is made to look like Cubase... might run in Sonar too.

I'm really looking for a straight up 31band graphic EQ.

The Sonitus I have looks like a parametric... unless I'm seeing the wrong thing.

Nothing wrong with a parametric - use them all the time as well.

This is a straight up 31 band EQ, but not free. It's $69.
