I have previously installed Music Creator 6 on my laptop. I was having troubles with working it, but everything installed and registered fine. I eventually uninstalled it because my USB interface was out of date and wouldn't allow me to record analog instruments properly. I recently got a new USB interface that works perfectly with my laptop. I reinstalled Music Creator 6 but for some reason the Cakewalk Sound Center won't install and the SI Drum Kit won't install, either. They both installed and worked fine for me the first time I installed Music Creator 6 to my computer, but not this time. Thanks in advance!

Hi JD
what exactly happens?  do you get an error message?  what is the message?

No, I receive no messages during installation or while the program is actually up. Sound Center and SI Drums just don't show up at all. They both did the first time I installed Music Creator 6 but now it won't install them.

Did it perhaps install them to a different directory and that's why they are not showing up?

Do a search for the files....

Go back through the installation process and see where it's putting the files. Often, if an installation is custom, it may not connect all the files together and you will need to locate it and tell Sonar where the DLL is located. Plug in manager is used for that.

Also, I don't know if you turned off automatic VST scanning in MC or not, but if you did, then make sure and do a manual scan after installation.

if none of that stuff works (what herb said as well) then try closing MC, then waiting a few seconds.  then hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard as you click on the MC6 icon to open the program.  that will force it to re-initialize.  that might work.

The holding Shift and opening MC worked for me, thank you guys very much. I now have Sound Center and SI Drums working again!

Good deal JD.
On a side note, you might want to update your signature.
I'm trying to figure out how you got that 1010 into a laptop
