Unknowen
I've been working daily in Plat and I am likening many things but annoying illogical work flow issues grind on my speed to produce.
1 when working with multiple monitors there should be control bars on each monitor.
2 most buggy thing that I don't get why it ended up that way is way are that all open view tabs are on the left except the track view that is always WAY over on the right. they should all be together maybe user defined.
3 I don't like the new boot file select popup, I hate waiting for it to load long after I have selected and opened the file I wanted to open before I can start working.
4 need more command bar buttons
5 Pro Channel should auto release giving control to the wheel control when mouse rolls over the Pro Channel.
6 Time rule works funky and its hard to select each function, It's like trying to hang on to a greased pig.
7 seems that the select all "star" never gives me the options I need and other times I have to use it because there is no designated command option.
8 after many years of using Cakewalk software I still have no idea where the nudge command is. Logically it should be as simple as left arrow / right arrow, BUT I am a graphic artist and that's how it is in Photoshop... :) it just makes sense to me.

Thanks!

#5 may have a feature request already, but this comes up for me often. Many programs now use global (Windows) location to shift mouse focus. If the cursor is over a window that accepts mouse functions, the mouse action "applies" to where the cursor is without having to manually shift focus. I.e., if I spin the mouse wheel and move it around the GUI (including VSTs) each one should begin scrolling when the mouse is over its exposed area.

For #8 - do you have a numeric pad? That's where my nudge is. I believe that's the default, but num lock must be enabled.

Please try and avoid the "ranting" verbage... we all have ideas and convey them nicely... the bakers work hard and deserve respect; avoid the memememe syndrome please.

I wouldn't vote for this thread because it commingles too many things and just sounds disrespectful...

Not that it matter... but I'm the one "trying" to use the software to produce music... If I can't, I don't buy again... I would believe that the Bakers should understand what is important to "The Artist" as it is a common fact that programmers and artists (in many respects) think in completely different ways...
I speak the way I speak to expressing my frustration that is obvious in this post intentionally to make my point and was in NO WAY disrespectful to anyone! That's your hang up, not mine!
Take Care...

I don't think you were ranting, but your post does read more like a blog than a feature request.

#3 Are you talking about the new start screen with the thumbnails on it? I disabled it. Go into preferences and you can disable it. I like it better without it, too. Then if you want to see it for some reason, you can select it from the file menu.

If you break each of these out into a detailed request, you will have a better chance of getting votes for at least some of them.

For example, I would vote for #s 1 & 4 ...

This ^^^^^^

One thread per item with a more detailed description and specifics would go much further IMO since some of the current descriptions are a bit vague (like 6 & 7).  As-is there's no way to really gauge the popularity of any one item, particularly when one (# 8) already has a answer.
